Course Details

Master programme in Horticultural Sciences is offered in a comparable form by several European partner universities under joint use of a module pool agreed upon by all partners. The objective of the Master degree programme as a second professional qualifying degree in the field of horticultural sciences shall be to prepare students for a professional career or for pursuing a doctoral degree. Note: If applicants wish to receive the Master degree from a partner university as well, they have to complete IMaHS pool courses there with a total number of at least 30 ECTS credits.

Requirements

Entry Requirements

Minimum requirement includes qualifying degree from a higher education institution in life sciences or a related subject; this includes in particular Horticultural sciences, agricultural sciences, forest sciences, nutritional sciences, environmental sciences, ecology, biology, geography, economics and social sciences.

Applicants qualification in the field of agricultural or horticultural science acquired outside of higher education in the field of horticultural science amounting to 900 hours will be considered during the selection process.

Native English speakers and applicants whose BA degree is from an English-speaking country are exempted from providing language certificates

The level is also deemed to have been achieved if, through study achievements and examinations to the extent of at least 20 ECTS credits, that at least part of the previous studies was completed in an English-speaking English-speaking foreign country
