Course Details

The international Master degree program in Human Computer Interaction is a consecutive full-time study program with a regular study time of four semesters that requires completion of a Bachelor degree program. In light of the fact that IT artefacts increasingly penetrate all areas of life and work, questions of design, implementation, acquisition and evaluation of usable and efficiently applicable software systems are the focus of studies. Special relevance is given to the design of IT artefacts for support of human action practices.

Entry Requirements

Minimum requirement includes a Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Administration, Design, Psychology or Sociology or a comparable program with a relevant share of 60 ECTS credits from the above-mentioned subject areas, completed with a degree of 2.5 or better.

Applicants with Bachelor degrees from other study areas should have a performance record from the disciplines of Business Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Administration, Design, Psychology or Sociology. The scope of results from the two areas in the Bachelor degree program should be at least 60 ECTS credits in total. In this case, the underlying Bachelor degree also must have been completed with a value of 2.5 or better.
