Biochemistry

Technische Universität Dresden

The Master degree program comprises an interdisciplinary education in molecular, cellular and tissue-specific biophysics from the particular point of view of an experimental, theoretical and nanotechnological approach. This course is highly research-oriented. Graduates of the program will be able to continue their career in basic research in academia, research departments of biotech companies as well as in research and development departments of biomedical companies.

Physics of Life

The Master program in Biology provides a modern research-oriented training in a wide range of research areas within the biological sciences. The specialisation in Microbial and Plant Biotechnology (MP Biotec) provides a deepened, scientifically founded education in the biotechnological use of microorganisms and plants. The students acquire knowledge in the molecular biology of pro- and eukaryotic cells, and learn modern methods in their investigation and genetic manipulation.

The International Master program in Geoscience (MGEX) provides students with a strong foundation in various aspects of Geology, Environmental Sciences, and Geophysics.
