Bachelor of Science program in Information Engineering and Technology offers a foundational engineering education on the basis of which students may choose among the following specializations: Communication Engineering (COMM): Deals with designing, developing, testing and monitoring the production of telecommunications systems, radar and navigation systems and wireless communication networks. Electronics (ELCT): Focus on development and research, design, testing and verification of electronic circuits or in automation technology. Networking (NETW): Focus on building, maintaining, and managing computer networks.
Students have to pay a non-refundable evaluation tests fee of 80 EUR when invited for the admission test
additionally, students have to pay a deposit of 420 EUR as insurance for use of labs (refundable at the end of academic studies after deduction of damages)
Students can pay their tuition fee in monthly basis also. The tuition fee per month is 619.17 EUR
Minimum requirement includes university entrance qualification accepted in Germany. For those without such entrance qualification acceptance at GIU requires to have successfully studied at least one year at any other German university abroad (recognized by GIU admission).
As a part of selection process the applicants have to take an admission test that includes reasoning test, English language test (only for applicants who don't possess any English language certificate), and a short interview with university staff.
Applicants with lower scores may be accepted upon overall evaluation of student’s file
