In the Technology of Renewable Resources course, you will receive the necessary practical and scientific know-how to use renewable resources sensibly. Equipped with scientific, process engineering and economic basis, you will look at the entire value chain from plant production, harvesting technology, processing and analysis to the manufacture of finished products. In this way, you are broadly positioned with your studies for your later professional activity. They deal with botany and plant constituents, with microbiological and biotechnological processes, with the material and energetic use of renewable raw materials as well as the ecological and economic evaluation of the processes.
Note: If you start your studies in the summer semester, you will study in the StudyFLEX program. What does StudyFLEX mean? The basic course is stretched from 2 to 3 semesters and supplemented by supporting events (bridging courses, tutorials, mentoring, study advice, orientation in the professional field). The original 7-semester course is thus designed for 8 semesters, in which 210 cp are acquired. At the beginning of your studies, you gain time to refresh your scientific basis, to develop your learning strategy and to get to know the professional field.

Within the online Applied Business Data Science Master, students get a very realistic picture of what it takes to be a good data analyst and what is actually expected of potential employers. To learn about the most important procedures and methods in the M.Sc. To get to know and apply applied business data science, real data from real companies is used. It's about essential questions: How can you predict whether a customer will terminate an ongoing contract at some point in the future or not? How can homogeneous customer segments be established within a customer database?

The Bachelor degree in English aims to provide a solid basic education in linguistics and literature as well as the acquisition of a German-French double degree (Bachelor of Education and Licence). The main idea is to impart methodological skills and historical knowledge, theoretical knowledge and practical skills. This degree in English, consisting of the specific sub-areas American Studies, Culture Studies and English Linguistics, offers students the opportunity to acquire literary, linguistic and cultural knowledge in two university systems, to deepen them and to reflect on the respective perspective. This degree programme consists of study in JGU and at the partner university in Dijon. The course concludes with both a German and a French university degree (License).

The aim of Master in Economics and Management Science (M.Sc.), known as MEMS, is to impart economic knowledge and competencies to students to enable them to work successfully both in professional practice and in the field of research. ‌Quantitative Economics

Epidemiology examines which factors protect, maintain or improve the health of individuals and populations, and which factors are harmful and cause diseases. Epidemiological knowledge enables a better understanding of the dynamics of diseases and ill-health conditions and provides a solid scientific basis for health measures. MSc Epidemiology at LMU Munich has a strong focus on teaching students abroad variety of methods needed in modern epidemiology. The programme offers students the chance to learn how to analyse different problems in health-related fields and how to plan, execute, and interpret studies.

Epidemiology

LMU - Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München

 The Master program of Neuro science constantly works on educating a new generation of neuroscientists. With an exellent understanding of the molecular, cellular and systemic principles of neurobiology,  students acquire a deeper knowledge of neuron interaction, the dynamics of neuron-glia interaction, rules of information transfer in simple and complex circuits of single brain centers, interaction of different brain centers, and the function of the human brain. This educational concept of the Master Program in Neurosciences can be seen reflected in the curriculum.

Neurosciences

Linguistics and literary studies are at the center of this Master program, as opposed to the acquisition and application of the foreign language. Linguistics focuses on the structure and function of language, and In literary studies, primary texts from different genres and periods in American and English literature are analyzed using theories and models and considered within their contexts. The program is laid out in three basic modules, which introduce students to the fundamentals of linguistic and literary studies and language practice.

HSBA Hamburg School of Business Administration is a private business school located in Hamburg, Germany. Founded by Hamburg Chamber of Commerce in 2004, HSBA now cooperates with more than 300 companies. As a state-recognised third-level institution, it offers bachelor’s and master’s degrees in business as cooperative education (in German: "dual") and part-time courses for 1000 students.
