The Master program Maritime operations study program sets out to cover maritime operations, with ship technology and management as supporting framework. Maritime operations will cover different aspects related to different maritime operations; the international aspect (such as regulations), the technical aspect (such as ship stability), the organizational aspect (such as the complex relationship between human and technical factors) and the managerial aspect (such as safety and risk) throughout the two compulsory semesters. In the maritime industry of today the technological, operational and managerial aspects are entwined and technology and management will both be present in some form in all maritime operations.

Internship is not mandatory, but is optional during studies. If possible, we recommend doing an internship.

Global Technology and Innovation Management and Entrepreneurship

With an International Management Master you work specifically on your previous business knowledge and qualify for a leading position in business. In addition to the business content, you will also choose your own individual focus. International Management Theory and Practice are closely interlinked. The MSc study course comprises four semesters and is non-consecutive, ie it is not based on a specific Bachelor course. The study program with emphasis on research is focused on theoretical courses and current projects imparting a profound knowledge in various aspects of pharmaceutical medicine. By conducting own research projects students are to develop professional skills in the pharmaceutical sciences which are mainly applicable in the pharmaceutical or pharmacy-related industry and pharmaceutical research institutions.
You will learn about the day-to-day practice in the field of the pharmaceutical value chain as to promote interdisciplinary knowledge. Additionally focus will be set on the flow of information between the different phases of the drug development process and to develop better understanding in the complex international tasks and competencies in the pharmaceutical industry.

Digital Media

Leuphana University Lüneburg

The two-year LL.M. study programme offers an in-depth study of international economic law with a double degree from Leuphana University of Lüneburg in Germany and the University of Glasgow in Scotland, or the University of the West Indies in Barbados. Integrating public and private economic law, the programme brings together two areas of law that are often covered independently in legal literature as well as in teaching.

International Economic Law (LLM)

Data Science is the science of extracting knowledge and information from data and requires competencies in both statistical and computer-based data analysis. The program is part of and is supported by the Elite Network of Bavaria. Students learn statistical and computational methods for collecting, managing, and analysing large and complex data sets and how to extract knowledge and information from these data sets. The program also comprises courses on data security, data confidentiality, and data ethics. Upon graduation our students are well prepared for a career as a data scientist in the private or public sector in fields such as applied economics, political science, sociology, education, medicine, public policy, and media research. Students may also pursue a doctoral study in a variety of academic disciplines that require quantitative analysis.

Quantum Science and Technology is a broad, interdisciplinary field of contemporary science spanning a wide range of scientific areas with a high potential for the development of future information, sensing and computing technologies. The research field is firmly grounded on the basic understanding of the principles of quantum mechanics, but also relies on developments in neighboring research areas such as mathematics, information technology, electrical engineering and chemistry. It is for this reason that the two Munich Universities – Technical University of Munich and Ludwig-Maximilians-University Munich, have joined their forces to establish the interdisciplinary Master study program Quantum Science and Technology. 

Quantum Science and Technology

The  Master program Evolution, Ecology and Systematics is strongly research-oriented and will provide you with a broad biological background in the three main areas and will train students to become a critically thinking scientist. During the program, students will become familiar with the many techniques and approaches that are used in the disciplines of evolution, ecology and systematics. Evolution, Ecology and Systematics

Erasmus Mundus Master Programme in Evolutionary Biology is a research-oriented Master programme for talented and motivated students who are interested in understanding evolution in all Its facets. It is a joint project between four European universities (University of Groningen, Netherlands; Ludwig Maximilians University of Munich, Germany; Uppsala University, Sweden; University of Montpellier, France) as partners and Harvard University (USA) and University of Lausanne (Switzerland) as associated partners.

Students have to fill out the online Application form. Make sure that you receive a confirmation Email within 7 days. Additionally students have to send the MEME reference form to at least two (preferably three) qualified referees, and make sure that these referees send the completed reference form via Mail: meme@rug.nl, stating the name of the candidate in the subject line of the email

Master in Financial Economics enable students to independently identify economic problems, to independently develop solutions to problems on a scientific basis, and to formulate recommendations for action. Students will acquire a systemic way of thinking and excellent analytical skills. Both of these skills are valuable qualifications for managerial and consulting activities, which allow students to understand complex interrelationships, and to analyze and evaluate problems from multiple viewpoints.
