International law consists of the set of rules generally regarded and accepted as binding in relationships between governments and between nations. It serves as a framework for the practice of stable and organized international relations. This Master programme in International Law (LL.M.) provides a general introduction to international law and Its role in today’s complex and interdependent world. Special emphasis will be placed upon international trade, investments, and arbitration. This allows students to strengthen and broaden their knowledge of international law and supports their professional development by enhancing their problem-solving skills in a transnational context. This is a Joint dual degree programme offered in cooperation with Santiago de Chile and in Heidelberg.
