Master program Sustainable Management and Technology trains the leaders of tomorrow's sustainable economy at one of Europe’s top technical universities. It combines an outstanding education in management with profound skills in biotechnology, sustainability and circular economy.
The Master program is offered with two options for specialization: Major in Biotechnology and Material Sciences (BMS) and Major in Sustainable Management (SM).

Internship is not mandatory, but is optional during studies. If possible, we recommend doing an internship.

Sustainable Management and Technology

The Master in Tropical Hydrogeology and Environmental Engineering aims at combining a comprehensive understanding of geoscientific fundamentals with a specific focus on issues of application that are essential in hydrogeology and environmental management. In particular the program concentrates on methods and modern techniques enabling the participants to find ways for a sustainable development of tropical and subtropical countries from a geoscientific point of view.  This program can also be completed as part time with semester duration of 6 or 8, where each semester offers respective individual credit points.

The Master degree program in North American Studies focuses on research of the United States of American and Canada and offers and innovative, transdisciplinary space for research on cultural-analytical theories and methods, transatlantic relations, and globalization topics. The North American Studies program addresses North American literatures and cultures from their colonial beginnings to contemporary literary and cultural practices.

It is mandatory to do an internship. It is easier to find internship when it is mandatory. 3-6 months is most common.

The Master in European and Transnational Intellectual Property and Information Technology Law (LIPIT) is a postgraduate program directed at providing the in-depth understanding of legal issues arising from the creation and use of literary or artistic works, mechanical or scientific inventions, digital information, and other intangible assets. It covers a wide variety of subjects, including copyright, patents, trademarks, telecommunications, electronic commerce, information security, and data protection. Besides the Program international character, strong emphasis is placed on establishing the direct link to practice.

The Students of Master in International Management of Forest Industries, enter the boardrooms of international forest industries and timber markets. During the Master degree, students consolidate their management qualifications. In doing so, they contribute to sustainable solutions for future challenges in the forestry and timber industry. After graduating from the Master degree programme in International Management of Forest Industries students take on management positions in companies within the forestry industries and timber markets in an international environment.

Master of Science in Innovation and Entrepreneurship train entrepreneurs capable of creating businesses of any size, in any sector and in any territory. Programme provide with the necessary foundations to become an innovative and responsible entrepreneur, support in building business throughout the program, provide with a network of incubators to host project and give an opening to the world: an international seminar in Silicon Valley, a seminar in Berlin to discover the start-up ecosystem.

Language of instruction is French and English

Students have to pay 130 EUR of administrative fee and 195 EUR of application fee

Innovation and Entrepreneurship

ESCP Business School

Master in Research and Innovation in Higher Education (MARIHE) has objective to educate change agents for systems and institutions of higher education, innovation and research, improve the management of higher education and research institutions, promote internationalisation in higher education, innovation and research, entrepreneurship and strengthen university-business relationships, and to raise the quality of learning and teaching and make higher education more inclusive. MARIHE programme is jointly conducted by the six partners University for Continuing Education Krems/Austria (coordinating institution), Tampere University/Finland, Osnabrück University of Applied Sciences Osnabrück/Germany, Eötvös Loránd University (ELTE)/Hungary, Beijing Normal University/China and Thapar Institute of Engineering and Technology/India.

Students will have their first semester in Austria, the second in Finland, the third in China/India (first part of the 3rd semester, students will attend a study trip to Asia. They will be able to choose between: Beijing Normal University (China) or Thapar Institute of Engineering and Technology (India)) and the last one in Germany. Students can choose from four different specialisation tracks, which comprise the second part of the 3rd and the 4th semester: Specialisations in Research and Innovation, TAU (Finland), Leadership and Management, UASO (Germany), Institutional Research, UWK (Austria), and Learning and Teaching, ELTE (Hungary).
