The goal of this Master programme is to deepen the students knowledge specifically in selected areas. Microelectronics has not only triggered the enormous growth in information and communication technologies but it has also become an important factor in many other areas. In recent years, technologies originally developed for microelectronics have been increasingly applied to the fabrication of miniaturised systems in electromechanical, electro-optical, analytical or biomedical applications. The new discipline is called microsystem technology. The future development will certainly result in the integration of microsystem components with microelectronic devices. Data and Discourse Studies is and interdisciplinary course of studies in discourse analysis with a focus on research data. Discourse analysis deals with the relationship between language, knowledge and society. A central point is the handling of research data, their processing and digital analysis.  The course focuses on how these data are collected, organized, analyzed, and interpreted.
