The Master study programme Materials Science and Engineering offers students a specialised scientific education at a high level and with a research-based focus. Joint European Master in Interdisciplinary Mathematics addresses several fields of interest from applied disciplines, specifically in biology and medicine on the one side, and industry and manufacturing on the other side. Our students acquire modelling skills and computational expertise needed to tackle practical problems in those fields, with a wide range of modelling techniques. However, each specialization branch provides more specific skills that are best suited to face problems arising in a selected list of contexts.
Note: All students will spend the first semester at UAQ. For the second semester, the cohort is split into two groups, one spending second semester in Hamburg (TUHH), the other one in Vienna (TUW).

Applicants who have conducted their university or secondary-school studies in an English-speaking institution will only have to verify that English is the medium of instruction in such institutions (to this purpose, you will find a dedicated section in the application form - no certificate submission required)

Joint European Master in Interdisciplinary Mathematics

The integrated American Studies Master program at the Johannes Gutenberg University in Mainz and the French Université de Bourgogne offers a literary and cultural studies-oriented course program in which in-depth knowledge of the various manifestations of Anglophone societies in the respective literary, historical, political and cultural contexts is conveyed. Jewish Civilizations is a joint Master program between the Hochschule für Jüdische Studien Heidelberg and Paideia – The European Institute for Jewish Studies in Sweden. The first phase of the degree program takes place in Stockholm with the One-Year Program. In the course of their studies in Stockholm and Heidelberg, students should acquire the necessary theoretical knowledge and knowledge of relevant methods, in order to be able to devote themselves to the study of complex events in Jewish culture in the past, present and future.
