The International Master degree program in Regenerative Biology and Medicine offers highly interdisciplinary education in stem cell research, regenerative biology, molecular biology and tissue engineering. The degree program also covers the clinically based areas of human biology and pathology for research and adapting regulatory aspects affecting the development and translation of regenerative treatment methods. The Master program combines comprehensive theoretical knowledge with extensive practical experience that students gather directly in research labs at cooperating institutes and clinics.

Internship is not mandatory, but is optional during studies. If possible, we recommend doing an internship.

The Semester contributions totaling 290.30 EUR must be paid each semester. It includes Student Union fee 87.50 EUR, Student Council and Student Representation fee 7.60 EUR and Semester Ticket fee 195.20 EUR

Regenerative Biology and Medicine

Interdisciplinary Master program in law and economics focuses on both law and economics. Students complete the international, one-year (three-trimester) program at a minimum of two of nine cooperating institutions, one of which is Universität Hamburg. Further institutions include universities in Bologna, Rotterdam, Haifa and Mumbai. The program imparts an understanding of the economic consequences of various legal norms and requires students to take courses in the areas of comparative law and economics, economic analysis of contract law, and competition in law and economics, among other fields.

Law and Economics (EMLE)

Universität Hamburg

Master program in politics, economics, and philosophy focuses on the analysis of individual and collective decision-making from the perspective of the three disciplines. Students learn how to solve problems in diverse areas such as politics, corporate governance, and international relations by applying insights from politics, economics, and philosophy. This is a rigorous, research-oriented program focusing on modern theories and methods in political science, economics, and philosophy.

Following test results can serve as proof of English proficiency: Cambridge Certificate of Advanced English (CAE) or Cambridge Certificate of Proficiency in English (CPE) or Cambridge Higher Business English Certificate (BEC)

Politics, Economics, Philosophy

The international Master in Social and Cultural Anthropology (Ethnologie) takes an analytical approach to anthropology that aims to explain fundamental social questions via ethnographic field research and intercultural comparison. Students engage in contemporary issues such as migration, urban and rural transformation, consumption, governance, family transformation, natural resource management, and climate change and investigate these issues in a variety of regional contexts across the world.

Ethnologie (Social and Cultural Anthropology)

The Bachelor course of study for teaching English includes the areas of language practice, linguistics, literature and cultural studies (both English and American) and subject didactics. Linguistics deals with understanding the structures and developments of the English language, while literary and cultural studies deal with the critical examination of the literatures and cultures of the United Kingdom, Ireland, North American and other English-speaking countries. 

It is mandatory to do an internship. It is easier to find internship when it is mandatory. 3-6 months is most common.

Knowledge of Latin language and knowledge other modern foreign language is required at A2 level

Master program in Neurosciences, Experimental and Clinical is an interdisciplinary discovery-oriented degree program, which enables the students to specialize in the field of experimental and clinical neurosciences. The development of the neurosciences is characterised by rapid growth in terms of technology and content in all sub-fields. Favoured by the activities developed both in American and in Germany in the Decade of the Brain, this trend continues with unchanged dynamism.

Master programme in Social and Cultural Anthropology, as part of a two-subject Master programme provides in-depth research-oriented training in a cultural and social science that deals with human culture in general and in two-subject cultures in particular on an empirical basis. The traditional focus of the discipline of Social and Cultural Anthropology is on rural non-European cultures and societies.

Social and Cultural Anthropology (Dual Major)

Master program in German and European Economic Law is based on the knowledge already acquired in the DEWR Bachelor degree program and deepens areas of practical relevance in a sophisticated manner. In addition to broad legal content and economic topics, the focus is on self-determined specialization.
