The M.A. International Sport Development and Politics combines sport sciences with social sciences and humanities as well as economics and management. The programme aims at a comprehensive understanding of structures, actors and conflicts in sport and physical activity. It contributes in particular to an international focus on sport including transnational and comparative dimensions.

Requirements

Entry Requirements

Minimum requirements includes the completion of a relevant Bachelor degree with at least 180 credit points according to ECTS. The programme should predominantly focus on (at least 90 credits) either sports science, social sciences, humanities, culture or economics.

In terms of methodology, the majors of the Bachelor programme should reveal foundations of empirical social research and hermeneutics (at least more than 10 CP) and in terms of study content, historical or current socio-political or sport scientific developments (at least must include more than 25 CP).
