 The theoretical component of the six dual bachelor's courses is held at our sustainability campus in Elmshorn (Schleswig-Holstein), while the postgraduate and further training courses are held at the NORDAKADEMIE Graduate School in Hamburg. The NORDAKADEMIE is a collaboration partner with over 20 years of experience in dual study programs with over 700 companies. This includes, in addition to application-oriented research, business projects such as practical projects in the master's program, as well as joint lecture series and events.
 
 Five dual bachelor's degree courses are available at the Elmshorn campus in business administration, technical informatics, industrial engineering, business informatics, and applied informatics. They combine a rigorous university education with qualified training in partner companies. All bachelor's degree programs conclude with the title Bachelor of Science.
 
 Trainees in dual bachelor's degree programs benefit from a close connection between the theoretical fundamentals taught at university and the application that occurs during the practical phases of everyday business life. In alternating blocks, the theoretical and practical phases are completed. The theoretical semesters each last 10 weeks, and the practical blocks last an average of 13 weeks, giving students a total of 6 weeks of annual leave.
 
 Employees who have completed their studies are already very familiar with the work processes and can be deployed immediately. By alternating between theory and practice, students can directly apply what they have learned, allowing them to quickly understand and apply it.

The Fachhochschule Wedel University of Applied Sciences gGmbH is one of the few private but non-profit universities of applied sciences in Germany.  It is founded in 1948.

Well-coordinated bachelor's and master's courses in computer science, technology, and business are among the available courses. Campus space measures 20,000 square meters. Here, 1,300 students use contemporary workshops, labs, and computer facilities.

The dual study concept is an option for all courses. The FH Wedel University of Applied Sciences is a university of applied sciences, hence its research and teaching are more practical in nature than those at universities. Students who are also working students apply their knowledge through exercises, projects, or other activities.

Since 1996, the university has been providing a semester abroad. It initially depended on collaboration with universities abroad. Later, new European nations were integrated through the Erasmus program. The institution presently collaborates with about 30 partner universities across the globe.

Around 200 businesses collaborate especially closely with the Wedel University of Applied Sciences as Wedeler Hochschulbund eV (WHB) members. Through the Internship and Job Exchange, you are seeking for students and recent graduates for internships, theses, and permanent positions. They may also contribute their knowledge in lectures and presentations by illuminating them with examples from their day-to-day jobs. The FH Wedel collaborates with about 80 partner companies to offer dual study locations on a regular basis. Additionally, FH Wedel partners enable their own funding programs.

The University of Education was established in 1962 and relocated to Ludwigsburg in 1966. It is the biggest of the six universities of education in Baden-Wuerttemberg, with around 6,000 students and more than 470 employees. The doctoral and post-doctoral degrees offered by these universities of education put them on par with traditional universities. In their research and instruction, they prioritize challenges related to educational science.

The Ludwigsburg University of Education (LUE) is a cutting-edge hub of expertise for educational sciences in four closely related fields: extracurricular children's and youth education, adult/further education, and education in cultural and social sectors.

The university's profile includes a significant portion of the bachelor's and master's degree programs in primary, secondary, European secondary, and special education (B.A./M.Ed.). A Master of Science in vocational education is additionally offered by the University of Education.

At LUE, internationalization is a major concern. LUE participates in the immigration society as a scientific educational force and provides administrators, lecturers, researchers, and students with a variety of opportunities to travel abroad. Over 90 partner universities across the world maintain close links with the International Office (Akademisches Auslandsamt). As a part of the organization's European and international mobility programs, numerous students and lecturers are given financial assistance for trips abroad. Every year, the International Office supports approximately 100 international students and countless international scholars while also acting as a welcome center.
