The MBA degree program at Berlin International is set within the unique Berlin context which not only houses many multinational corporations (MNCs) but also represents a major start-up hub in Europe. The BI learning environment is problem-based and has a strong focus on applied practitioner approaches. It is unique in the sense that it entails a truly international intercultural and interdisciplinary academic experience consisting of a diverse student and teaching body as well as the BAU global network. The ultimate goal of the program is to prepare global professionals of diverse backgrounds with solid managerial knowledge tools and skills strengthened by an alluring network in order to create value under changing business environments. The MBA operates under the global iAccelerate network which strengthens innovative entrepreneurial projects. Students profit from the program’s flexible and project-based orientation towards entrepreneurship and intrapreneurship albeit amid a conscious and practical understanding of emerging economies and their interaction with other markets. We view every class as a unique experience including valuable interactions with external organizations (e.g. corporations startups) through company visits simulations and city discoveries within the dynamic flair of Berlin. The MBA is built around a balanced mix of course formats including projects classical lectures seminars workshops computer-lab sessions and colloquia albeit through innovative teaching techniques that foster the development of core competencies. At Berlin International all lectures are fully taught in English. Teaching the MBA courses in English helps prepare our students for the global market and supports their role in an international business setting.

The registration fee for students from non-EU countries is 250 EUR (one-time and non-refundable) and for EU citizens 100 EUR (one-time and non-refundable)

The purchase of a semester ticket for public transport in Berlin zones ABC has been mandatory for all students of Berlin International. Students are required to pay for the ticket along with their tuition fee. The agreed prices for the semester ticket are 205.20 EUR

EU Nationals students can be pay their fee in 6 monthly installments of 880 EUR

A Bachelor degree in Business Administration or a related field is preferred.

In addition you are required to have gained at least 1 year of full time continuous work experience after your Bachelor graduation.

Good to know

If you have not completed high school in a majority-English speaking country (ie. USA UK Canada Australia Ireland New Zealand) an approved language exam is required in order to qualify for admission. You are welcome to attend the internal Berlin International language proficiency exam. It will be hosted via the software MS Teams and participation can only be offered after an application to one of our programs
