The degree programme in response to the high demand for specialists in the real estate sector with an understanding of the commercial matters surrounding property and with the ability to implement projects in the areas of intelligent building Technology and sustainability. As the largest branch of industry in Germany  the real estate sector is also the largest producer of CO2 emissions. This programme teaches how smart Technology can be put to use in properties to help protect the environment and make a contribution to environmental sustainability.

Students will graduate from the programme qualified to conduct day-to-day business in the sector and to face the challenges smart building Technology presents  as well as to develop long-term strategies and visions for establishing a sustainable approach towards properties in their different asset classes.

They will have developed the ability to plan and optimise the processes involved in smart building management using Technology such as the Internet of Things  energy management tools and other platforms.

50% of the modules are taught in German and 50% of the modules are taught in English.

Internship is not mandatory, but is optional during studies. If possible, we recommend doing an internship.

No contribution fee is charged, but the registration fee for applicants from non-EU countries is 150 EUR

Joint European Master in Interdisciplinary Mathematics addresses several fields of interest from applied disciplines, specifically in biology and medicine on the one side, and industry and manufacturing on the other side. Our students acquire modelling skills and computational expertise needed to tackle practical problems in those fields, with a wide range of modelling techniques. However, each specialization branch provides more specific skills that are best suited to face problems arising in a selected list of contexts.
Note: All students will spend the first semester at UAQ. For the second semester, the cohort is split into two groups, one spending second semester in Hamburg (TUHH), the other one in Vienna (TUW).

The University of Passau, or Universität Passau in German, is a public research university founded on October 9, 1978, in Passau, Lower Bavaria, Germany. Its first semester enrollment was 463 students.

There are now 39 distinct undergraduate and graduate degree programs offered at its four faculties. On its university campus, which is a short distance from Passau's Old Town, about 12,000 students from more than 100 different countries and about 1,100 primary employees in the academic units and academic support divisions are working on research, teaching, and support activities for higher education. This campus has won multiple architectural awards in addition to being well-equipped in terms of technology infrastructure.

The library was founded with the university in 1978 and welcomed Passauer residents and students that same year. Together with the five faculty and institution libraries, the central library serves as the university's primary library. Currently, there are two million volumes and 3,050 journals in the university library. Each of the 1,000 desks in the reading rooms, which are available 16 hours a day, is for library patrons.

The University of Potsdam is a public university located in Potsdam, the state capital of Brandenburg, Germany, that was established in 1991. The majority of it is spread out over three campuses in the city. The Institution of Potsdam, which is currently the biggest university in Brandenburg, is mostly spread among three campuses on the outskirts of the city.

The campus Am Neuen Palais, which is in the immediate proximity of the Park of Sanssouci, is home to the Faculty of Arts. In rural Golm, where one of the largest science parks of the region has grown, there are the Faculty of Science and the Faculty of Human Sciences. The Faculty of Economics and Social Sciences, the Law Faculty and Faculty of Digital Engineering are in Griebnitzsee, not very far from Babelsberg with its historical film studios.
