The Master programme Applied Computer Science and Infotronics imparts the Competencies to work on new, complex tasks and problems in the development and project planning of embedded systems.The Master programme is thus intended to enable graduates of a Bachelor programme to substantiate the knowledge gained so far with theoretical and application-oriented knowledge in order to meet the requirements of modern development tasks in high-tech areas in a special way. Building on the previous Bachelor programme, the course imparts essential Advanced specialist knowledge of hardware and software development as well as methodical and personal skills for concrete career orientation in research and development, application, management, consulting or sales of embedded systems. Furthermore, the degree forms the basis for a scientific career at universities and research institutes and serves as preparation for a doctorate.

Programme can be studied and finished completely in English. As some electives courses are given in German, choice of electives taught in English might be restricted

Internship is not mandatory, but is optional during studies. If possible, we recommend doing an internship.

The continuing studies program in Master of International Taxation, which students can attend while working, imparts theoretical and practical knowledge of international taxation, equipping future tax experts to solve complex problems. Students learn to judge the legal, corporate and financial consequences of various tax concepts within the context of globalization.
Note: Master of International Taxation (MI Tax) can be studied part-time and full-time. The standard period of study for the part-time variant is two semesters of face-to-face classes plus a Master thesis, as this is being studied part-time.

The Master degree program for continuing education in Global Health Risk Management and Hygiene Policies is offered by the University of Bonn in cooperation with the Institute for Environment and Human Security (EHS) at United Nations University (UNU) and is largely oriented towards the UN’s sustainable development goals. Marine Science Education, Microorganisms in the ocean are fundamentally important for a sustainable biosphere. They directly influence our environment and our climate. The study of marine microbiology involves research of fundamental issues such as the evolution of life, the functioning of marine food webs, global climate change, the fate of pollutants, and the biodiversity of the ocean. In terms of educational policy, the students will be provided with the possibility to qualify on an elevated level within the research field of marine microbiology.
