Big Data is becoming increasingly more important in business practice from finance to the health sector, the amount of structured and unstructured data that companies are providing nowadays is rapidly increasing. The aim of the Master program in Big data and Business analytics is to bridge the gap between logic and quantitative methods, programming languages, frameworks and infrastructure, all the way to the interpretation and implementation of the results in business processes. 

Internship is not mandatory, but is optional during studies. If possible, we recommend doing an internship.

The Master Programme Transition Management enables students:
1. To understand the complex processes and specific demands of transition and emerging economies.
2. To comprehend the various areas of transition, including economic, legal, political, social, agricultural, and environmental aspects and their interlinkages.
3. To gain knowledge as well as practical Competencies in methods and strategies to enhance the transition process.
4. To train their soft skills by learning and working in international and interdisciplinary teams.

The Semester contributions totaling 296.90 EUR must be paid in each semester. It includes 136.95 EUR  Semester ticket,7.50  EUR- Contribution for the student body ,  83.70 EUR - Contribution for the Studentenwerk/student services, 50.00 EUR - Administrative fee,15.00 EUR - Deposit for the electronic student ID card,1.50  EUR - Ticket for the Giessen municipal theatre,  2.25 EUR - Bike rental system
