The Master program ‘Optics and Photonics’ within the frame of the KIT mission statement on teaching and learning reads: ‘intense scientific and research-oriented education and interdisciplinary acquisition of Competencies’. The Semester contributions totaling 230.20 EUR must be paid in each semester. It includes, Administrative fee is 70.00 EUR, Student union fee is 77.70 EUR, Student body fee is 7.50 EUR and Guest auditor fee is 75.00 EUR
The Students seeking to complete a second degree, need to pay a fee of 650 EUR per semester
Admission requirements include a completed Bachelor degree or equivalent degree with a minimum of 180 ECTS credit points in engineering or natural sciences.
Minimum requirements (Modules) to be completed in the Bachelor program includes Optics and Photonics, Physics, Chemistry, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Biology, Mathematics, Computer Sciences.
Incase if graduation is not complete enclose certificate of enrollment
Translation of certificates must be provided if they were not provided in German or English
Applicants from the People's Republic of China , Vietnam and Mongolia must submit APS certificate
Additional documents such as certificates of further academic and professional achievements, Letter of motivation, written statement in case of former participation in the application process can be attached as supporting documents for admission
