The Intercultural Conflict Management Master programme revolves around the premise that social conflicts materialize in the space of manifold interrelated social worlds. Accordingly  social conflicts never correspond with the space of one particular social world  but they represent an overarching continuum which stretches out over the space of several intermingled social worlds. For this reason  the programme is structured into four interrelated Area of studies which break down social conflicts from distinct but intertwined perspectives  in order to bring forward social actions aimed at the participatory resolution of conflicts: A “Social World and Power Relations”  B “Research  Action  and Networking”  C “Specialization Seminars and Workshops”  and D “Thesis and Colloquia”.These four Area of study are not to be conceptualized as accumulative elements  but they are inherently correlated and come about in parallel from the beginning up to the end of the programme.
The M.A. programme will be of most interest to individuals who are professionally active or have an academic interest in environments characterised by cultural diversity and conflict. These elements are frequently encountered in multi-ethnic contexts where competing group interests exist and where individuals have regulatory/control responsibilities requiring additional intercultural competence and mediation abilities.

Nobody could have predicted this level of success in the first year. With the future in mind, the Deggendorf University of Applied Sciences has made it through the gradual development of appealing fields of study, supplemented by an appealing range of further education, intensive research activities and knowledge and technology transfer to the regional economy, picking up on economic and social trends, and cultivating regional and international contacts.
 
 Over 8,000 young people are currently studying in Deggendorf, Pfarrkirchen, and Cham. More than one-third of them come from other countries to study in Lower Bavaria. The University of Giessen, officially known as Justus Liebig University Giessen, is a large public research university in Giessen, Hesse, Germany.  One of the most important tasks of the JLU is knowledge transfer within the framework of highly qualified and research-oriented teaching. The classic natural sciences, psychology, law, and economics, as well as the humanities, cultural studies, and social sciences, are among the subjects covered in the University of Gießen's approximately 90 courses. Justus Liebig University Giessen

The Kehl University of Applied Sciences is a university that offers bachelor's degrees exclusively for public service jobs. Its main task is to train civil servants for higher administrative service in the state, the municipality, the districts and other bodies, institutions and foundations under public law that are subject to state supervision. She shares this task with the University of Public Administration and Finance in Ludwigsburg, with whom she works closely because the students of both universities have to pass the same state examination.
 
 The University of Public Administration in Kehl is one of Germany's most prestigious institutions of its kind. It was established in 1971 and grew in the 1980s.
