International and research-oriented Master program in Quantitative Molecular Biology helps you learn and apply modern molecular techniques and methods of cell biology. A particular focus lies on the quantitative analysis of molecules and cells aided by mathematical and theoretical concepts. The Semester contributions totaling 315.64 EUR must be paid each semester. Minimum requirement includes a first academic degree obtained in a course of study with a minimum length of three years in a biological field; usually, a Bachelor degree of at least 180 ECTS credits or equivalent.
All of the following academic requirements must be met by the applicants to be admitted to this consecutive program. To prove the former, applicants are required to complete the Self-Assessment form. Additional credits, such as specific knowledge in Molecular Biology, Cell Biology, Biochemistry and Biophysics, Microbiology, Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics, Statistics and Bioinformatics, serve as selection criteria and can improve the position in the ranking.
Applicants should have at least 10 credits in Molecular Biology, at least 5 credits in Cell Biology, at least 5 credits in Biochemistry, at least 5 credits in Microbiology, at least 5 credits in Chemistry, at least 5 credits in Physics, and at least 5 credits in Mathematics and/or Statistics.
Following test results can serve as proof of English proficiency: Certificate in Advanced English (CAE) or Certificate of Proficiency in English (CPE) or UNIcert or Cambridge English: Business Higher (BEC H) or ICFE - International Certificate in Financial English or ILEC - International Legal English Certificate or Level 3 with Distinction in LCCI or Business Language Testing Service with minimum score of 75 or DAAD language certificate or Linguaskill with C1 in all skills
In TOEIC, the listening/reading level should be 945 and the speaking/writing level should be 360
