The aim of the course is to provide students with in-depth knowledge of the physical and technical fundamentals in the field of quantum engineering as well as sound knowledge of the theoretical and experimental methods for obtaining new knowledge, including the necessary ability to abstract, analytical thinking, ability to to structure complex relationships and to be able to contribute successfully to the economy. Geared towards basic research, students receive a broad-based scientific education with a focus on nanosciences and quantum technology, which includes all the necessary knowledge in experimental physics, internships, theoretical physics and also an individual specialization.

The Semester contributions totaling 143.60 EUR must be paid each semester. It includes Public transport pass (Semesterticket) fee 81.60 EUR and Student union fee 62.00 EUR
Minimum entry requirement includes a Bachelor degree in physics, mathematics or related field of study.
Cambridge FCE is also accepted as proof of language proficiency
Documents must be certified and translated to English or German
Applicants from China, India and Vietnam must submit the original certificate of APS
