This degree program Renewable energy will provide you with the knowledge and skills that will enable you to take on innovative tasks in the industry  the public sector and in research.The program comprises two fields of study: In "Sustainable Engineering"  you will deal with sustainability topics – for example  electromobility and energy-efficient drives  industrial usability of biomass or environmental compatibility of economic projects. The study field "Renewable Power Engineering" provides you with comprehensive knowledge on topics such as the integration of decentralized power generation into intelligent power grids or the modern power control of photovoltaic and wind power plants.

Internship is not mandatory, but is optional during studies. If possible, we recommend doing an internship.

Domestic as well as international students pay a semester contribution which covers for example the price for the semester ticket for unlimited use of public transport in Frankfurt and Hesse social contributions to the students union

a Bachelor degree from an English-speaking country OR
at least 25 ECTS credits from English-language modules are not required for the submission of English certificates.

You can choose between a 3- and a 4-semester study program:if you have completed a bachelor's degree in other electrical engineering field; you can choose the four-semester option.

This program seeks students to enhance students’ knowledge of pharmaceutical products and processes in response to industry needs  especially in pharmaceutical production and development.The Pharmaceutical Technology  Purification Techniques  Cell Culture Systems and Bioanalytics modules follow the typical sequence of development of a new active ingredient in the pharmaceutical industry. In this way  you will learn to recognise the links between the identification  production and administration of active substances  come to understand the meaning of pharmacological parameters  and engage with quality control and quality assurance for developed products. Taking these skills into your future career  you will be able to formulate recommendations on an active ingredient use  work in a team to realise these recommendations  and analyse developments or propose improvements.

The language of instruction and assessment is English  but German is spoken in all laboratories and is the predominant language in use at HAW Hamburg.

The amount 340.40 EUR consists of Studierendenwerk 85.00 EUR, Students' Union (AStA) 18.50 EUR, Semester ticket for public transport 182.40 EUR, Contribution to semester ticket hardship fund 4.50 EUR, Administrative fee 50.00 EUR

International applicants to the degree Pharmaceutical Biotechnology who completed their first degrees in a language of instruction other than German must provide proof of successful completion of an internationally recognised test of German language proficiency

The University of Applied Sciences Emden/Leer and the Carl von Ossietzky University of Oldenburg offer an international Bachelor program in Engineering Physics to fill the gap between traditional physics and engineering. Students in this program acquire comprehensive knowledge and understanding of mathematics and the natural sciences in combination with application-oriented engineering, including the skills needed to further develop modern technologies.

Language instruction is english (elective lectures up to 30 credit points maybe offered in German)

English proficiency can also be proven by 8 points (grade 3.0) in upper secondary education

Kiel University, also known as the Christian-Albrecht University of Kiel, is a university in Kiel, Germany. It was founded in 1665 and currently has 27,000 students approximately. Kiel University is the state's largest, oldest, and most prestigious university. Kiel University faculty, alumni, and researchers have received 12 Nobel Prizes. Since 2006, Kiel University has been a member of the German Universities Excellence Initiative. Kiel University is also affiliated with the Kiel Institute for the World Economy. The university is well-known for its emphasis on public international law.
 
 Kiel University has 190 courses that allow you students to learn a lot and exchange ideas with a lot of people. In addition to traditional subjects such as law and medicine, humanities, social sciences, and natural sciences are available. Applied fields of study, such as materials and technology sciences or agricultural and nutritional sciences, provide excellent career opportunities. The teaching degree is crucial.
