Master in Strategic Sports Management deals with management tasks in the sports sector, a global growth market with above-average growth potential. The basis of the application-oriented Master course is well-founded management theory and Its application to the sports industry . The focus is on the global future topics and markets in sport as strategic and practical topics. These include, above all, leadership, digitization, sustainability, integrative management, health and tourism as well as consulting. Course is also available in Fast Track basis. Under fast track basis, semester abroad is omitted and you shorten your internship period. This allows you to complete your Master degree in only 3 semesters with 90 ECTS. Note: In Strategic Sports Management you will soon be able to complete an international double degree. In addition to the Master degree at ISM, you will also acquire a second, internationally recognized Master degree. In some cases, this is even possible as part of the integrated semester abroad, which gives you two Master degrees in two or two and a half years.

Students from EU and EWR have to pay an enrollment fee of 600 EUR and Non-EU-students have to pay 1500 EUR
Students having signed their admission contract by December will pay fee of 6,280 EUR for course held in Dortmund, Cologne, Stuttgart and Berlin, 6480 EUR for course held in Frankfurt/Main, Munich and Hamburg and additionally 1,200 EUR for Master thesis
Students having signed their admission contract by January will pay fee of 5,700 EUR for all campuses (Master thesis fee already included)
Early Bird Discount: Students can save 1,500 EUR when they sign a contract for the winter term by March
Last Call Discount: Students can save 500 EUR when they sign a contract for the winter term by June 15th
Minimum requirement includes undergraduate degree with 180 ECTS in Sports Management or Economics or an equivalent course of study at an university, university of applied sciences or a foreign university of equivalent level.
Alternatively, applicants could have successfully completed examinations at Bachelor level or higher studies amounting to at least 30 ECTS points from the subject areas of Economics, Marketing, PR or Market Research. Missing subject-specific ECTS points can be replaced by qualified work experience or corresponding internships. If you need more ECTS points, also taking the ISM Pre-Master program (starts each spring semester) will allow you to acquire missing ECTS.
The admission process consists of a case study and an interview. You will present your results of the case study in an oral presentation on the day of the admission test.
Prerequisite for fast track program is 210 ECTS from your Bachelor (an alternative admission to Fast Track is possible via demonstrated work experience or by taking the ISM Pre-Master).
English language proficiency can also be proven as follows: Cambridge (FCE) test score or a degree in English Studies or at least 30 ECTS in an English-language higher education program or a native speaker (will be assessed on a case-by-case basis)
