Course Details

The degree programme in response to the high demand for specialists in the real estate sector with an understanding of the commercial matters surrounding property and with the ability to implement projects in the areas of intelligent building Technology and sustainability. As the largest branch of industry in Germany the real estate sector is also the largest producer of CO2 emissions. This programme teaches how smart Technology can be put to use in properties to help protect the environment and make a contribution to environmental sustainability. Students will graduate from the programme qualified to conduct day-to-day business in the sector and to face the challenges smart building Technology presents as well as to develop long-term strategies and visions for establishing a sustainable approach towards properties in their different asset classes. They will have developed the ability to plan and optimise the processes involved in smart building management using Technology such as the Internet of Things energy management tools and other platforms.
