The Joint International Master Programme in Sustainable Development approaches sustainability issues from an interdisciplinary perspective. The focus is set on developing the scientific skills needed for students who wish to contribute to the transformation towards a more environmentally and socially accountable society. The programme consists of different tracks, allowing students to specialise in the natural or social sciences depending on their previous education.

The Semester contributions totaling 253.50 EUR must be paid in each semester. It includes Student body 8.50 EUR, Studentenwerk Leipzig 80 EUR and MDV public transport pass 165 EUR
Minimum entry requirements includes a first Bachelor degree focusing mainly on economic, social, earth or natural science and related to sustainability topics.
CV must be provided in English
Applicants from China, Vietnam, India and Mongolia need to produce APS
If applicable proof of having passed the aptitude test (EFP) or the evaluation of subject-specific admission requirements (FZV) can be used as supporting documents for admission
