The study course combines the field of mechanical engineering with sustainability aspects. It is motivated by tremendous global changes, which are driven by the limited availability of resources, the challenges arising with the man-made climate change, and the increasing complexity of interacting systems. This study programme offers fundamentals of engineering science and equally addresses sustainability topics in the fields of mobility and production as well as processes and energy.

The Semester contributions totaling 367.11 EUR must be paid each semester. It includes Student Support Services contribution fee 110.00 EUR, Student body contribution (including the Semester Ticket) fee 182.11 EUR and Contribution to administrative fee 75 EUR
Students have to pay 75 EUR for the assessment of foreign qualifications
Minimum entry requirement includes a university entrance qualification, and the completion of a pre-study internship.
School education in English and German , UNIcert II, DAAD language certificate (3xB2 and 1xC1 or higher), English Language Proficiency Report of the TU Braunschweig Language Center (3xB2 and 1x C1 or higher), is accepted as proof of respective language proficiency
