The Master Degree Programme Sustainable Transition is the first fully Online Degree Programme. As a student of our MSc programme you will, 1. Analyze and understand the concept of sustainability and the involved trade-offs through the lens of different disciplines; 2. Comprehend the various areas of transition, including economic, legal, political, social, agricultural, and environmental aspects and their interlinkages with sustainability; 3. Possess knowledge as well as analytical Competencies in methods and strategies to enhance the transition processes towards a more sustainable economy; 4. Be skilled in evaluating transition processes from a sustainability perspective and developing solutions for sustainable transitions applicable to the private and public sector.

The Semester contributions totaling 99.35 EUR must be paid in each semester. It includes, 41.85 EUR - Student union, 50 EUR - Administrative fee, and 7.50 EUR - Student body
Applicants must hold a Bachelor degree with at least 180 ECTS-points and the grade good or very good (Minimum Grade of 2.6 German grading system) in one of the following scientific fields: Agriculture, Nutrition, Natural or environmental sciences, Economics or Political science.
Applicants should have proof of sufficient knowledge in economics, and/or the social sciences, i.e. at least 60 ECTS points in at least one of these subjects.
Accepted proof of English language proficiency: Proof of obtaining a local higher education entrance qualification/Bachelor’s degree in English in one of the following countries: Australia, Ireland, Canada, New Zealand, USA, United Kingdom, South Africa, and proof of the UNIcert III certificate
Applicants from People's Republic of China, India, Mongolia, and Vietnam also need the notification of the respective academic test center (APS) for their application
If the Applicants obtained university entrance certificate abroad or attended but not completed yet a bachelor programme at a German university other than JLU or at any other university within EU they should provide a preliminary report
