Requirements

Entry Requirements

Minimum requirement includes a Bachelor degree or equivalent qualification from a German or foreign university in systems engineering or a related field (specifically, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, computer science or informatics, microsystems engineering or mechatronics).

Applicants must demonstrate particular academic aptitude demonstrated by an overall grade in their Bachelor degree of at least good (German grading scale: 2.5) or by presenting satisfactory academic references that give appropriate consideration to the overall grade previously achieved or by the results of an oral interview conducted by two examiners from the Department of Mechatronics.

Language proficiency can also be proven by degree from a German school and have taken English classes for at least 6 years

If proof is not available, a provisional admission can be granted on the condition that the required language skills are acquired within one semester, e.g. through a language course
