The international Master Program World Studies: Orders  Politics  Cultures provides students with in-depth knowledge of global structures and interactions. It aims at examining political and cultural processes at a world scale from an interdisciplinary perspective. We engage with international orders  the complex inter-relations between international actors  the global dissemination of ideas and knowledge  as well as diverging and converging modes of understanding in intercultural contexts. We understand ‘orders’ as stable settings gathering the parts and a whole (e.g.  in the sense of multi-level governance and international legal systems). ‘Politics’ is concerned with the regulation of societies in transnational contexts. ‘Cultures’ refers to disputed interpretations  practices  and values pertaining to these orders and politics.

Internship is not mandatory, but is optional during studies. If possible, we recommend doing an internship.

The Semester contributions totaling 321.74 EUR must be paid each semester it includes Semester ticket 153.89 EUR, Studierendenwerk 91.00 EUR, NRW - Ticket 58.50 EUR and General contribution 18.35 EUR

The Master program material science and engineering focus on the development of innovative materials creates important preconditions for new industrial processes and modern products. Thus  they promote social progress  improve quality of life and solve important problems in areas of energy technology  life-science or information technology.

The Master degree course will be offered in English  optional modules may partly be chosen in German. The Master thesis can be completed in our laboratories  research institutes or with industrial partners.

PLEASE NOTICE: Prospective students for Bachelor's programmes can only apply when they have received their school leaving certificate (Abitur  entrance qualification for studies at universities of applied sciences  ...). It is not possible to apply with a mid-year report card.
Step 3: Documents to be submitted
Candidates are directed to the checklist at the end of the online application. There you will find information on which documents you have to submit.

We waive any evidence if you obtained your Bachelor degree at the department of Chemical Engineering  University of Applied Sciences Muenster or in an English-language degree course or if English is your mother tongue. In any other cases the examination board will decide upon request.

International Master study programme in Translational Neuroscience is consecutive to a Bachelor programme and is addressed to students interested in basic and clinical research in neuroscience. Translational neuroscience uses this knowledge and technological advances to help developing new diagnostic procedures and therapies for patients with neurological or psychiatric disorders.

It is mandatory to do an internship. It is easier to find internship when it is mandatory. 3-6 months is most common.

Semester contribution include a train ticket with which covers travel free of charge by bus and trains in the state of North-Rhine Westphalia (NRW)

Wiesbaden University of Applied Sciences was renamed RheinMain University of Applied Sciences (German: Hochschule RheinMain), a public university in the state of Hesse with campuses in Wiesbaden and Rüsselsheim am Main. It is a component of the "Silicon Valley of Europe," the IT-Cluster Rhine-Main-Neckar.
 
 The five main faculties are broken up into study area. In Wiesbaden, the majority of students, around 9,800, study in the departments for social sciences, architecture and civil engineering, design-computer science-media, and the Wiesbaden Business School. The engineering school is close to Rüsselsheim where 3,089 students are currently studying. The four fields of study mechanical engineering, information technology and electrical engineering, physics as well as environmental technology and services have been combined in the engineering sciences department since September 2006 and offer several bachelor's and master's courses.

On August 1st, 1971, the University of Applied Sciences (HSD for short) was established by merging many prominent regional educational institutions. HSD provides a wide variety of disciplines and is currently one of the biggest applied science universities in the German Federal State of North Rhine-Westphalia. Nearly 200 academics instruct more than 11000 students in 40 degree programs across seven faculties.

The academic program of HSD offers instruction and research in the interdisciplinary fields of design, technology, the social sector, and business studies. The focus is on business studies, media, social sciences, and cultural studies in addition to mechanical and process engineering, electrical engineering, and information technology. The only degrees offered at HSD are bachelor's and master's degrees.

HSD actively encourages international interchange by taking part in conferences and summer schools and has over 160 partner universities. They arrange for students to study and intern overseas, as well as many other chances for growth.
