The Master program in Current Democracies: Nationalism, Federalism and Multiculturalism is a Double degree program offered in cooperation with the Universitat Pompeu Fabra (UPF) in Barcelona and Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München (LMU). During the first year, all students participating in the double degree program will follow the program at UPF whilst the second year of the program will take place at LMU. Upon successful completion of the program students are offered the degree from both the universities.
Note: Applicants have to apply both at LMU and UPF for studying.

The Semester contributions totaling 138 EUR must be paid each semester. It includes Basic Fee 75 EUR and Semester ticket fee 63 EUR

Students deal with both British and North American linguistic, cultural and literary forms and thus acquire not only text and media analytical skills, but also intercultural and interdisciplinary skills. Career prospects include cultural institutions such as museums or archives, in adult education, as well as in municipal institutions or private companies in public relations, communication or media analysis.
