Master of Science in Wood Science is a consecutive, research-oriented course, based upon fundamental knowledge of lignocellulose based bioresources and their ranges of application. Minimum requirement includes a consecutive Bachelor degree in Timber industry or Bioresource Use [wood science] from Universität Hamburg.

English proficiency can also be proven by university entrance certificate in English and verified stay in a foreign (English speaking country for at least 1 year)
Following test results can serve as proof of English proficiency: Cambridge Certificate of Advanced English (CAE) or Cambridge Certificate of Proficiency in English (CPE) or Cambridge First Certificate in English (FCE)
