The aim of the BA Human Resource Management and Leadership program is to develop a global business graduate with a well-rounded and state-of-the-art HR management and leadership expertise  and a skill set that can be adapted to different business settings.

Our program encourages students to delve deep into the dynamics of employee behaviour and the impact this has on the functioning of organisations. As such  students will learn how to manage a diverse workforce through topics such as intrinsic and extrinsic motivation  work engagement  continuous professional development  and performance management. Moreover  students will explore recruitment and selection through topics such as job design  identifying the skills and competencies needed for a job  where to advertise and how to choose the right person for a wide pool of applicants whilst simultaneously being aware of legal and ethical requirements. HR is a fulfilling and critical component of the organisation guiding Its greatest asset  Its people.



Internship is not mandatory, but is optional during studies. If possible, we recommend doing an internship.

The interdisciplinary Master program "History  Economics and Philosophy of Science / Interdisciplinary Studies of Science" (ISoS) focuses on science-reflective studies and is aimed at working out essential characteristics of science and making them explicit. The goal is the analysis of scientific knowledge  Its economic structure and Its integration into the social context in the past and present. The course is aimed on the one hand at bachelor’s graduates in the three basic disciplines of history  economics and philosophy  and on the other hand at graduates from the natural and social sciences who are aiming for a science-reflective deepening of their studies. The training in the ISoS course qualifies the students for independent research work in the field of science research  but at the same time is aimed at imparting important skills for working in various institutions of science administration and science management.

Proof of language skills in English and/or German. Sufficient language skills are proven by a relevant academic degree from either a German- or an English-language institution. If  at the date of application  no German language skills can be proven  a level of C1 in English is requisite for admission; in that case  skills of German at the level of B1 need to be earned during the programme and proven upon receiving the degree

The international Master Program World Studies: Orders  Politics  Cultures provides students with in-depth knowledge of global structures and interactions. It aims at examining political and cultural processes at a world scale from an interdisciplinary perspective. We engage with international orders  the complex inter-relations between international actors  the global dissemination of ideas and knowledge  as well as diverging and converging modes of understanding in intercultural contexts. We understand ‘orders’ as stable settings gathering the parts and a whole (e.g.  in the sense of multi-level governance and international legal systems). ‘Politics’ is concerned with the regulation of societies in transnational contexts. ‘Cultures’ refers to disputed interpretations  practices  and values pertaining to these orders and politics.

World Studies

The Master Degree in European Studies at the International Graduate Center of the Bremen University of Applied Sciences is politics  economics/business  law and administration of Europe. The University of Hildesheim, or Universität Hildesheim in German, is a public university that was established in Hildesheim in 1855. On the Marienburgerhöhe, just outside the town, are the major structures of the University of Hildesheim Foundation. The university's additional locations are dispersed around the entire city.

Over 8,700 students are now enrolled at the university. The foundation university employs approximately 270 individuals in administration, the library, and technology along with over 90 professors, 470 scientists, and over 270 other staff members. The Bergische Universität Wuppertal - Uni Wuppertal for short and unofficially BUW  - was founded in 1972 as part of the NRW education initiative as a comprehensive university. 

The university has over 23,000 students enrolled, including over 2,500 freshmen. About 1030 of these were taught by 260 instructors across three university campuses. A hundred or so courses were offered at the same time.
