Master in Advanced Safety Sciences for Medicines provides students with insights into aspects of drug safety involved in their professional day-to-day practice and relates to all phases of drug research and development. Students will especially concentrate on the interdisciplinary relationships of safety assessments coming from the various sub-disciplines involved, ranging from the search for active ingredients through the preclinical and clinical testing phases to drug production. The integration of toxicological data from active pharmaceutical ingredient development and the preclinical and clinical phases up to the application on humans are other areas of focus.

Internship is not mandatory, but is optional during studies. If possible, we recommend doing an internship.

Advanced Safety Sciences for Medicine

University of Konstanz

Master programme in Social and Economic Data Science provides the knowledge and skills necessary to collect, manage and analyse diverse data sources created from administrative processes, network logs, social media, surveys or experiments. The program puts a heavy emphasis on foundational issues including problems of measurement, representation and causal inference which are often overlooked in current big data analytics. The course is tailored for students with a BA degree in the behavioural and social sciences, and a proven interest in quantitative and computational methods. 

Proof of sufficient English language skills can also be proven through individual cases, an equivalent test checked and recognized by the corresponding Examination Board

Social and Economic Data Science

The Master program Visual Computing is research oriented and leads to a second professional qualification, which enables students to do a subsequent doctorate. The course enables theoretical connections to be grasped on the basis of mathematical, scientific and engineering knowledge. The successful completion of this course entitles the holder to use the protected professional title "Engineer" in accordance with the Architects and Engineers Act of the State of Mecklenburg-West Pomerania.

The course is generally possible in German, individual elective modules are only offered in English

Visual Computing

University of Rostock

The Master degree program in North American Studies focuses on research of the United States of American and Canada and offers and innovative, transdisciplinary space for research on cultural-analytical theories and methods, transatlantic relations, and globalization topics. The North American Studies program addresses North American literatures and cultures from their colonial beginnings to contemporary literary and cultural practices.

It is mandatory to do an internship. It is easier to find internship when it is mandatory. 3-6 months is most common.

The Master Program in Polymer Science is research-oriented. Students will acquire the skills needed to apply scientific methods and findings to produce and interpret research results, and they will learn how to communicate these results to others. Apart from this general qualification that is necessary for all areas of polymer science, this program offers students the opportunity to specialize in one of the subject areas of polymer physics, chemistry, or technology, thus sufficiently covering the variety of scientific and economic activities in this area. This Master Program prepares you for a career in a scientific or industrial polymer-related field. Possible career opportunities range from research and development to production to consulting and administrative occupations.

Polymer Science

University of Potsdam

The University of Applied Sciences Cologne [Rheinische Fachhochschule Köln (RFH)] is a privately run, nationally recognized university of applied sciences. The RFH is classified as a non-state university by the Ministry of Culture and Science of the State of North Rhine-Westphalia and is listed as a state-recognized university and is subject to its supervision. A course of study at Rheinische Fachhochschule is characterised by seminar-based instruction in groups of no more than 50 students; compact, short courses of study; and application-oriented teaching.
 
 The RFH offers around 6,500 enrolled students 20 bachelor's and 20 master's courses in the fields of "technology", "economy", "law", "health", "consumption", "communication", "security" and "design" in the four departments engineering, economics and law , medical economics and media and uses face-to-face teaching as well as digital learning and media formats. Small semester groups, a high level of practical relevance attained through project-related work, knowledgeable professors, and close collaboration with the business community differentiate the study program. 
 
 Additional dual- and continuing-education classes are available at RFH's Neuss campus in the areas of international industry and trade management, marketing and communications management, logistics and supply chain management, and industrial engineering and management (B.Sc.). Since early 2011, its engineering graduates have had priority enrollment at Loughborough University's Post-Graduate Program for further education (LU).
 
 The RFH offers digital learning and media formats in addition to traditional classroom instruction to promote learning that is time- and place-independent. This is especially true of the extra-curricular courses. Small semester groups and a high level of practical applicability are distinguishing features of the course, which is made possible through project-related work, instructors with expertise in the sector, and strong collaboration with business.

Rheinische Fachhochschule Köln (RHF) - University of Applied Sciences

Finding a room is VERY DIFFICULT around this University. Start ASAP. You are most likely on a waiting list for a student hostel accommodation even if you delay few days.

The University of Education was established in 1962 and relocated to Ludwigsburg in 1966. It is the biggest of the six universities of education in Baden-Wuerttemberg, with around 6,000 students and more than 470 employees. The doctoral and post-doctoral degrees offered by these universities of education put them on par with traditional universities. In their research and instruction, they prioritize challenges related to educational science.

The Ludwigsburg University of Education (LUE) is a cutting-edge hub of expertise for educational sciences in four closely related fields: extracurricular children's and youth education, adult/further education, and education in cultural and social sectors.

The university's profile includes a significant portion of the bachelor's and master's degree programs in primary, secondary, European secondary, and special education (B.A./M.Ed.). A Master of Science in vocational education is additionally offered by the University of Education.

At LUE, internationalization is a major concern. LUE participates in the immigration society as a scientific educational force and provides administrators, lecturers, researchers, and students with a variety of opportunities to travel abroad. Over 90 partner universities across the world maintain close links with the International Office (Akademisches Auslandsamt). As a part of the organization's European and international mobility programs, numerous students and lecturers are given financial assistance for trips abroad. University of Education Ludwigsburg

Finding a room is not that easy around this University. We highly recommend to search for a room as soon as you get an admission from your university.

The University of Koblenz-Landau is a recent institution with a sizeable student body. In 1990, it emerged from a university of educational science. Eight departments are housed on its two campuses in Koblenz and Landau, and the President's Office is located in Mainz. The three interconnected, multidisciplinary profile areas of "Education," "People," and "Environment" are now where research and instruction are aligned.

The University of Koblenz welcomes more than 1,700 first-year students. The 1990-founded university was modelled after a number of earlier colleges in Koblenz, Landau, Neuwied, Worms, Kaiserslautern, and Trier.
Now its has 9,071 students, and 19.04 percent of them are in their first semester. Women make up 59.19 percent of the population. In the coming days, more first-semester students will enroll in the many courses offered on campus as late-determiners, and those who have moved up do so.

The University of Koblenz-Landau has also completed bilateral, subject-related Erasmus agreements with almost 200 universities and submitted a successful application for the Erasmus+ participation calculation. Students at the University of Koblenz-Landau now have the chance to conduct an Erasmus study visit at one of the partner institutions.

Currently, Erasmus is available to participants from all 27 EU member states as well as Iceland, Norway, Liechtenstein, Turkey, and the Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia.

You can choose from a variety of courses at the University of Koblenz-Landau in the areas of education, humanities, and natural, cultural, social, and environmental sciences. Additionally, you have access to courses in computer science, psychology, and the two-subject bachelor's degree.
