The Digital Product Management programme provides students with an academic foundation in the subject areas of digital product management, digital product innovation and marketing, agile project management and practical skills in the areas of product strategy, business model design, organizational design, design thinking and entrepreneurship. Students will learn all aspects of the development of digital products, enabling them to analyse consumers and market events using the methods of the subject and to derive strategies for innovative digital products from this.

It is mandatory to do an internship. It is easier to find internship when it is mandatory. 3-6 months is most common.

Sociology

English studies is dedicated to the investigation of the English language, literature and culture in their various present-day forms and in their historical development. The multidisciplinary, English language Peace and Conflict Studies joint program is offered in cooperation with the University of Kent. Students spend one academic year each in Canterbury and Marburg and, following successful completion, receive an M.A. in Peace and Conflict Studies from the Philipp University of Marburg and the University of Kent. The program's subject matter focuses on conflicts and peace processes in the face of international change. In the program, students acquire in-depth, specialized knowledge of peace and conflict research and the capability to research and analyze conflicts in national and international contexts, to develop conflict management options, and to personally collaborate on the management of conflicts.

The consecutive Master degree to the Bachelor degree in biology offers a wide range of subjects that spans all areas of biology. Applicants from related life science courses are often qualified for the Master course and can apply. An individual selection of three majors or one qualification major and two majors opens up wide fields on the job market in the life sciences and related disciplines. The course is primarily research-oriented. Social anthropology looks at diverse socio-cultural lifeworlds. Social anthropologists explore human diversity, cultural similarities and differences, and modes of communication. Taking history into account, social anthropology is grounded in ethnography subjected to theoretical analyses and description. Social anthropological knowledge facilitates cross and intercultural understandings. The programme encourages reflexivity and ethically responsible research practices.
