Graduates of Biomaterials Science are qualified for a wide range of careers. These include, among others, the materials processing industries; the pharmaceutical and medical industries; food processing; vehicle production as well as furniture design or the leisure industry. 

Biomaterials Science

Study of philosophy is systematic: philosophy is concerned primarily with addressing and examining philosophical questions, and only secondarily with the history of philosophical thought, analytical: philosophy is bound by the constraints of logic and by the ideals of clarity and rigour. Students can choose to study only at Saarland University or to conduct some of their studies at universities in neighbouring countries such as in Nancy (France) or in Luxembourg, or pursue a full study-abroad semester.

The Semester contributions totalling 293.00 EUR must be paid each semester. It includes Saarland Student Services fee of 98.70 EUR,  Personal accident, theft and public liability insurance cover fee 1.30 EUR, Payment to the General Student Committee (AStA) 13.00 EUR, Administrative charge fee 50.00 EUR and Semester travel ticket fee 130.00 EUR

Applicants should have appropriate knowledge of other foreign language relevant to philosophy (usually ancient Greek, Latin or French)

Geodesy is a broad engineering discipline that is strongly focused on mathematics and natural sciences. It includes collecting, modeling, and processing measurement data in a spatial context. In the Master program Geodesy and Geoinformation Science, students learn to develop and apply methods of engineering measurement, satellite geodesy, planet and Earth system research, computer vision, 3D and 4D modeling of the real world using geographic information systems.

Geodesy and Geoinformation Science

The Master degree in landscape architecture is dedicated to the high-quality design of landscapes and urban spaces. The focus is on design work, which brings together aesthetic-artistic and scientific-technical methods.
Program can also be studied in 4 semesters (for graduates in an eight-semester-long Bachelor degree program with an integrated internship 3 semesters)

The languages of instruction for this program are German or English. This means that you can complete your studies in either German or English

Landscape Architecture

The Master program in Data science provides knowledge in current developments in software and infrastructure engineering, as well as Big Data technology. The key focus will be on practical problem-solving skills. The aim of this course is to prepare students to work as a specialist, who can develop challenging data science applications and systems, in both the private and public sectors.
