Interior Design

The Master in Data Science will qualify students to analyse big data efficiently and to create systems/solutions for Machine Learning. Therefore they will be all set for future industrial demands. The focus areas of this Data Science Master are Urban Technologies and Intelligent Machines and is explicitly interdisciplinary constructed. After the basic knowledge of Data Science (as Computer Science and Statistics) students will be taught about a wide range of Machine Learning methods.

Most of the resources in the field of data science are in English and the MSc Programme will be taught exclusively in English.

Data Science

Cyber Security is a scientific programme  in which you learn to understand how the Security Building Blocks work and what are their limits including mathematics behind cryptography. Based on this  you gain knowledge needed to design and develop new algorithms/approaches against specific cyber threats as well as critically evaluate their limits. The programme is not about how to configure a firewall or to run a pen testing tool  it is about academic content with in depth understanding of underlying techniques and principles.

Cyber security

The international Artificial Intelligence will deepen your knowledge and learn to Master the diverse and growing demands in the field of AI.
Such applications are for example autonomous driving  facial recognition  big data science  medical data analysis  robotics  cyber security  or the intelligent control of technical systems such as power plants or energy networks.Through a combination of current knowledge and modern methods from computer science  psychology  and mathematics  you will be able to research and design complex artificial intelligence procedures. Artificial Intelligence

The Master programme ERM has an applied orientation. It is a consecutive course that follows the Environmental and Resource Management Bachelor degree offered by the BTU Cottbus - Senftenberg and is also suitable as a further qualification for graduates of other relevant Bachelor programmes

The course serves to broaden and deepen professional knowledge and management skills in the focus area of integrated environmental and resource protection. Graduates will be able to assess and design technological  economic and infrastructure processes with the objective of sustainable production  planning and material flow management.

Environmental and Resource Management

With the program Petroleum Engineering Even in this era of transformation for climate protection and the energy system  the fossil fuels oil and natural gas remain an essential pillar of our society. By further developing traditional petroleum engineering techniques and new fields of application  such as the storage of energy generated through renewable sources and the use of deep geothermal systems  modern petroleum engineers make it possible to place the energy supply of the future on a more environmentally friendly footing. In international teams  students develop media offerings that explore this potential. In interdisciplinary media productions  they combine real and media worlds of experience and develop a new media language based on the user/audience experience.
