The aim of the Global Studies Programme is to provide students with the theoretical knowledge, methodological and practical skills for comparative analysis of the social, political, economic and cultural dimensions of globalisation processes in a research-led institutional framework.Studies Programme (M.A. Social Sciences) is an interdisciplinary programme comprised of sociology, political science, anthropology and cultural geography. Additional courses include environmental sciences, economics and data management.

As a first subject, a vocational subject must be studied. The Europhotonics Erasmus Mundus Joint Master Degree (EMJMD) is a Master program focusing on Advanced research and applied topics that will constitute the near and extended future scientific goals in the field of Photonics, with interdisciplinary applications. Master students benefiting from this program will be able to work on today’s new challenges in their academic or applied research careers: understand and control matter and optical phenomena at the nanometric scale, provide new imaging and monitoring tools for complex biological processes from cells and tissues to clinical applications, bring new and original tools for future optical devices. After being graduated, the Europhotonics students obtain positions in industries, in research laboratories, in universities worldwide.

The teaching language is English. Students are notably expected to produce a Master Thesis in English

Central here is the training of specialist and management skills in order to enable you to have a successful career in an increasingly complex and dynamic corporate environment. In the bilingual course, the focus is always on the application orientation of the content learned, for example through the integration of company workshops or interactive group project work.

International Business Administration

Biodiversity, Evolution, Ecology (Hybrid)

The Master degree program in Modern Greek Language and Literature provides students with Advanced subject-specific skills, including further language skills in Modern Greek. This program also aims to help students acquire further academic, methodological, and research-oriented qualifications, particularly the ability to analyze texts and cultural phenomena independently, using academic methods, from a critical standpoint and present the results of their analysis appropriately. Students also develop their abilities to analyze gender relations in various social, political, historical, academic, and cultural contexts.

Teaching Language are English, German, Modern Greek

Modern Greek Language and Literature (Hybrid)

Master program in Integrated Design focuses on understanding the latest technological developments. Students can choose to specialize in Computational Design or Facade Design. Master program teaches theoretical and practical knowledge on digital analysis, design, planning and production methods, and provides a detailed overview of the latest technological developments. The degree program integrates operational aspects of information technology, construction product development and academic work.

The Semester contribution totaling 324.00 EUR must be paid each semester. It includes Student body fee 18.00 EUR, Semester ticket fee 215.00 EUR and Association for Student Affairs fee 91.00 EUR 

Integrated Design

OWL University of Applied Sciences and Arts

Bachelor program in Business Administration / International Marketing combines business administration with a strong specialization in the area of international marketing. Students have the chance to receive two Bachelor degrees: the International Marketing Bachelor of Pforzheim University and the foreign degree of the particular partner university.
Note: Students spend four semesters in Pforzheim and two semesters at the partner university. A one-semester internship in the area of marketing is also part of the program. There are eleven partner universities available for the double degree.

Strong leadership and digital competence are two central requirements in marketing management of the future. The MBA in Leadership and Digital Marketing Management develops a feel for this through exchange with international initiators in the industry. In this way, graduates are able to implement innovations and processes in a strategically sound manner in organizational structures.
Note: The course can be completed in minimum duration of 18 months (faster) or can be extended up to 30 months (more flexible).

Specialisation in ESports Studies provides the students with the opportunity to acquire specialist knowledge that enable to start a career in the ESports industry. Students can choose the specialization in addition to one of the following Bachelor degree programs: Digital Media and Marketing (Bachelor of Science), Digital Business and Data Science (Bachelor of Science), Game Design (Bachelor of Arts) or
