The course includes lectures on more general approaches to integrated urban development and urban sustainability  but also takes a closer look at urban resilience in the context of climate-sensitive planning by analysing urban heat islands and different buildings typologies and urban patterns. Part of the programme is GIS training and application in order to map such heat islands of informal and formal housing areas  using a practical  illustrative case study. Based on these findings  you will get the chance to create practical design solutions that respond to urban heat in the physical  cultural  and social context.

If you have not completed high school in a majority-English speaking country (ie. USA  UK  Canada  Australia  Ireland  New Zealand)  an approved language exam is required in order to qualify for admission. You are welcome to attend the internal Berlin International language proficiency exam. It will be hosted via the software MS Teams and participation can only be offered after an application to one of our programs

The MA Interior Architecture/Interior Design program is offered to graduates of interior architecture/interior design. The program strengthens the Competencies and specialized knowledge acquired at BA level so that students can individually apply creative and responsible solutions to tasks in the fields of interior architecture and interior design. The program is firmly grounded in the vibrant city of Berlin but taught exclusively in English. It is designed to help students understand their role and responsibility as interior architects in different physical and cultural contexts – on either a local or a global level. The College of Fine Arts was founded in 1764 as the "Principal Art Academy," and it has a long history of teaching art, artistic craftsmanship, cultural heritage preservation, restoration, and conservation. The Northern Institute of Technology Management (NIT) is a university in Hamburg. The institute was founded in 1998 by 40 Hamburg University of Technology professors (TUHH). International engineers, scientists, and business-related graduates complete the NIT program and learn to master leadership and management tasks responsibly and sustainably. The institute provides an English-language master's degree program in Technology Management (M.A. and MBA), as well as a variety of professional training courses and workshops.
 
 The Foundation for International Business Administration Accreditation (FIBAA) and the Deutschen Akkreditierungsrat have both accredited the Technology Management study program. The entire program is written in English. The institute trains German and international students to be technology executives. Every October, between 25 and 37 students begin the Technology Management study program, with the goal of graduating with a Master's or MBA. [3] There are several options for the NIT study program such as a Master with the degree of Master of Arts (M.A.) or Master of Business Administration (MBA) in part-time, or a double master (M.A. oder MBA) in combination with an M. The University of Konstanz (German: Universität Konstanz) is a university in the city of Konstanz in Baden-Württemberg, Germany. Its main campus was opened on the Gießberg in 1972 after being founded in 1966 as a reform University.

The institution is located on the Gießberg in the Mainauwald and has a total area of around 90,000 square meters (Mainau forest). The institution was built differently from typical university buildings in order to encourage social interaction between researchers, lecturers, and students.
