The Master Programme »Integrated Urban Development and Design« (IUDD) is train students to develop abilities that will encourage them to react to transformation processes that are typical for the beginning of the 21st century: Urban landscapes of dispersed character  global markets as well as global challenges in environment and society  virtual spaces  powerful actors in the construction business and postmodern lifestyles are raising new challenges for the spatial Competencies of planners and designers dedicated to larger scales but with a sense for detail.
The aim of the consecutive programme is the training of local and international "curators for urban space". This takes place through a combination of spatial scientific-analytical and urban developmental-design oriented education  as well as through an integrated practical component or an in-depth semester in China.
The programme aims to deepen  expand and apply technical and methodological skills already acquired. These should also be considered in the context of international perspectives and enable interdisciplinary work. The programme is committed to define  analyse  include and streamline these diverse factors in the sense of Integrated Urban Development as an holistic approach and Its linkages to urban design in the metropolitan as well as rural-urban context.

Internship is not mandatory, but is optional during studies. If possible, we recommend doing an internship.

The aim of the BA Human Resource Management and Leadership program is to develop a global business graduate with a well-rounded and state-of-the-art HR management and leadership expertise  and a skill set that can be adapted to different business settings.

Our program encourages students to delve deep into the dynamics of employee behaviour and the impact this has on the functioning of organisations. As such  students will learn how to manage a diverse workforce through topics such as intrinsic and extrinsic motivation  work engagement  continuous professional development  and performance management. The impact of the digital economy  it is essential to understand the way that digitization has impacted business-model development  logistics  customer service  and marketing. Students in our digital business and management program will learn how to navigate the new structures that govern the interactions between producers  customers  suppliers  and cooperation partners  and also will learn how to apply Machine Learning and other Data Science techniques. In addition  students will also become competent in areas such as finance  human resource management  and customer service. They will also develop strong interpersonal skills and learn to facilitate collaborative working methods in project management.

You are welcome to attend the internal Berlin International language proficiency exam. It will be hosted via the software MS Teams and participation can only be offered after an application to one of our programs

With the program Petroleum Engineering Even in this era of transformation for climate protection and the energy system  the fossil fuels oil and natural gas remain an essential pillar of our society. By further developing traditional petroleum engineering techniques and new fields of application  such as the storage of energy generated through renewable sources and the use of deep geothermal systems  modern petroleum engineers make it possible to place the energy supply of the future on a more environmentally friendly footing. The consecutive Master program in petroleum engineering trains students specifically for the fields of drilling and production  reservoir management  energy storage and distribution  and deep geothermal systems.

The European Cultures and Society (EUCS) bachelor’s degree program focusing on European scholarship and research in the humanities  cultural studies and social sciences.

As a student in the EUCS program  you will acquire subject-specific and methodological skills in disciplines within the humanities  cultural studies and social sciences relevant to European Studies. You will also develop Advanced specialized knowledge of certain areas of European Studies  either from a cultural or social science perspective—the choice is yours.

The study program Advanced architecture concentrates on the combination of design and construction. Furthermore  „Advanced Architecture“ means designing and constructing on all scales  from urban contexts to the one-to-one detail. Advanced  future-oriented concepts are developed and dealt with in study projects  in office internships  with the FFin  as well as in close collaboration with our cooperation partners from the construction sector.

The Barenboim-Said-Akademie (short: BSA) is a music college in Berlin - Mitte . It is named after Argentine-Israeli pianist and conductor Daniel Barenboim and American-Palestinian literary critic Edward Said . The main building is the former scenery depot of the Staatsoper Unter den Linden, it is located in the adjacent area to the rear on Französische Straße. Ever since the renovation works were completed during 2014 and 2015, the building now has a lecture hall, several seminar rooms, 21 rehearsal rooms and, since March 2017, a chamber music hall, the main hall of the house , named after the French conductor Pierre Boulez .
 
 For talented young people from the Middle East and North Africa, the state-recognized Barenboim-Said Akademie offers a bachelor's degree in music. The rigorous curriculum also includes humanities and musicology. The academy's faculty includes internationally renowned artists. Aside from the bachelor's degree, the academy offers an artist diploma in all orchestral instruments, piano, and composition, which prepares musicians for a professional career.
 
 The pedagogical spirit of Edward Said and Daniel Barenboim pervades the Barenboim-Said Akademie. Students learn to listen to one another and to come up with their own ideas. The success story dates back in 1970, when Universities of applied sciences were indispensable as places of scientific education and research for Germany's science and innovation system. This law established the originally independent Bremen University of Applied Sciences, which merged in 1982 to form what is now Bremen University of Applied Sciences. The HSB is now the state's second largest scientific institution. 
 
 It is regarded as an essential location factor for the region as a university of applied sciences with practical and future-oriented teaching and research, as well as its trademark internationality. Graduates contribute to the availability of skilled workers in all relevant areas of society. The extensive research is carried out in close collaboration with businesses and scientific institutions.
 
 The HSB's profile is oriented toward current and future societal and economic issues that run as cross-cutting issues through studies and teaching. The University of Lübeck is a research institution with a strong emphasis on the medical sciences and related fields. It is located in Lübeck, Northern Germany. The University of Lübeck was established as a stand-alone research facility in Schleswig-Holstein in 1973.

They provide degree programs in the natural sciences, engineering, computer science, and medicine. Interdisciplinary programs that combine the scientific sciences, computer science, and medicine provide students with a modern education that is supported by the best possible medical care. Due to faculty cooperation, collaboration with other universities in Lübeck, the Research Center Borstel, the Medical Laser Centre, and local enterprises, the environment for developing and using novel technologies, diagnostics, and therapies are optimal here. The quality of research at their institution, which is now characterized by two specialized fields of study, is strengthened by collaboration with national and international research centers.
The Universität zu Lübeck has a small student population (3,400) compared to other institutions, but it has a favourable teacher-to-student ratio. The excellent academic status of their students in medicine and computer science demonstrates the high caliber of the instruction.

The University of Lübeck is unique in that it is organized into three sections rather than departments or faculties, with the sections of Informatics/Engineering and Natural Sciences coming together under the title MINT. Along with the divisions that highlight the university's research character, the centers at the Universität zu Lübeck are an essential component of the organizational structure.

Students may attend the Universität zu Lübeck for one or two semesters while participating in the ERASMUS program.

The Carl von Ossietzky University of Oldenburg located in Oldenburg, Germany was founded in 1973, making it one of Germany‘s young universities.
