Access to sustainable and renewable energy represents one of the great challenges in the 21st century. Therefore, electrochemical energy storage, in particular batteries, will be and essential tool for the future. The Master degree programme in Battery Materials and Technology will prepare students for these future challenges. It addresses central issues of energy storage in and interdisciplinary manner, and focuses questions like efficiency and safety of new battery materials within a scientific orientation.

The Semester contributions totaling 137.97 EUR must be paid each semester. It includes Association of Student Services fee 72.00 EUR and Semester Ticket fee 65.97 EUR
Minimum entry requirement includes a Bachelor degree in subject areas of Engineering Science, Environmental and Resource Technology, Materials Science and Engineering, Electrical Engineering and Information System Technology, Chemistry or Physics or and equivalent.
English Abitur and Cambridge FCE can also serve as proof of language proficiency
Documents must be certified and translated in English or German
