The Master degree program in Biodiversity, Evolution and Ecology fosters Advanced knowledge of the subject and methodology among students and enables them to embark on careers in research and practice in the fields of biodiversity and ecological research. The program teaches students professional methods of collecting, evaluating, and interpreting data on evolution, ecology, and biodiversity. The goal of the program is to provide students with a thorough understanding of complex ecological and evolutionary processes. Alongside theoretical fundamentals, students are introduced to the methods used in modern and traditional research in the fields of biodiversity, ecology, and evolutionary biology. By including curatorial elements at institutions that maintain collections and large-scale research institutions, the program offers students a way to earn particularly high qualifications.

The Semester contributions totaling 312.89 EUR must be paid each semester. It includes Enrollment fee 50 EUR, Social contribution for Students union fee 54.09 EUR, Student government fee (Studierendenschaft) 10.00 EUR and; Semester ticket, tariff area ABC, Social fund fee 198.80 EUR
Minimum entry requirements include a Bachelor degree in biology, geosciences, horticulture, forestry, agricultural sciences, bioinformatics, veterinary medicine, or other natural science degree.
Documents must be certified and translated in English or German
Applicants from China, India or Vietnam have to submit APS certificate
