The aim of the BA Human Resource Management and Leadership program is to develop a global business graduate with a well-rounded and state-of-the-art HR management and leadership expertise  and a skill set that can be adapted to different business settings.

Our program encourages students to delve deep into the dynamics of employee behaviour and the impact this has on the functioning of organisations. As such  students will learn how to manage a diverse workforce through topics such as intrinsic and extrinsic motivation  work engagement  continuous professional development  and performance management. Thanks to our cooperation with Harvard  we recognizes the grades of the  international nine-month distance-learning program "Principles and Practice of Clinical Research (PPCR)" offered by the Harvard TH Chan School of Public Health and achievements obtained during the PPCR program as equivalent to ECTS. Graduates of the PPCR course can directly continue with our Master program and shorten their study time. In the end students receive the academic title Master of Science (M. Sc.) from the Dresden International University.

Our lecturers do not just give teacher centered lectures but rather collaborate with you to generate new ideas and research questions  develop new thinking strategies and help you further develop your individual skills. This unique and very close and open relationship between students and teachers is also a mutually beneficial way of exchanging ideas and creating a strong professional network.

In addition to the theoretical background  we enable our students to apply the practical aspects of clinical research. The negotiation of contracts and the independent development and implementation of clinical research projects have priority. The evaluation of chances and risks of a project as well as the interpretation and evaluation of the effects which can result from the clinical study are essential for the MPCR study course.

To cope with the biggest challenge of the 21st century  man-made climate change  we must convert 100% of the world's energy supply to renewable energy sources over the next few decades and to optimize the supply and use of energy.

Both the teaching and research work within the Master program focuses on the transformation from fossil energy systems to 100% renewable energy systems in order to achieve the goal of having a maximum increase of the global average temperature of 1.5°C by the year 2050. In order to achieve this  energy system models are built  and measures are developed to allow for the implementation of renewable energy systems. Additionally  political economy studies help to identify barriers of the transformation and to develop appropriate local solutions. In doing so  we do not lose sight of the socially just and environmentally compatible perspectives in addition to the technical and economic perspectives. The possibilities of energy sufficiency and sustainability as well as the investigation of justice and gender aspects also play special role within the team’s research.

With over 140 partner institutions, seven English-language bachelor's and master's level courses, and corporate partners globally, the THI has access to a wide network internationally. The THI's strong international orientation is also demonstrated by the variety of multi-year research programs and collaboration with international partners. 

The academic training at the THI also offers corporate programs for the qualification needs of partner companies such as BMW, Siemens, Daimler, Allianz or the regional clinic. Thus, around 120 companies regularly participate in the research projects of the THI, including large corporations such as Audi, BMW, Continental, Siemens as well as numerous SMEs and other research institutions.


Technische Hochschule Ingolstadt

The Technische Universität Braunschweig, or TU Braunschweig, is the oldest Technische Universität in Germany, It was established in 1745 and is a part of the largest and most prestigious group of German technical institutes, known as TU9. It frequently appears on lists of the best engineering schools in Germany. The research profile of TU Braunschweig is extremely broad, although it has a strong emphasis on aeronautics, vehicle engineering, including autonomous driving and electric mobility, manufacturing, life sciences, and metrology. 

The German Aerospace Center, the Helmholtz Centre for Infection Research, many Fraunhofer Institutes, and Germany's national metrology institute (PTB), among many others, are just a few of the external institutions with which research is performed in close partnership. As one of very few research institutions of its type in the world, the university has its own research airport. There are six faculties at the university. Some faculties are further broken down into departments. Additionally, all faculties are broken up into multiple institutes.

The Technical University of Braunschweig keeps up contacts with nations around the globe. Partnerships with more than 60 nations and 400 universities and research institutions currently govern the exchange of lecturers, students, and information with various foci. The collaborative scientific alliance brings together the strengths of the TU Braunschweig and the Leibniz Universität Hannover. Additionally, the university collaborates with many local scientific institutions.

Future City, Metrology, Mobility, and Infections and Therapeutics are the four key areas on which the TU Braunschweig concentrates its research. Researchers at the university work closely with those from other Braunschweig research centers. Future intelligent cities are being developed by researchers at TU Braunschweig. The goal is to develop solutions for Smart Cities that are effective, eco-friendly, wholesome, social, and green.
