The aim of the course Master in Business Informatics is in the field of business informatics and related field of study. The Master degree in business informatics is research-oriented and teaches students knowledge and skills in concepts, methods and technologies in the field of business informatics for employment in academic and industrial fields. The course enables theoretical connections to be grasped on the basis of mathematical and scientific, engineering and business knowledge. 

Modules are offered in either German or English

Internship is not mandatory, but is optional during studies. If possible, we recommend doing an internship.

Business Informatics

Master program in Power Engineering deals with power plant engineering and electricity generation. Electricity generation originates principally in large thermal and hydraulic power plants and is increasingly complemented by decentralized generation technologies providing renewable energies.

It is mandatory to do an internship. It is easier to find internship when it is mandatory. 3-6 months is most common.

Technical University of Munich

Master in Ecological Engineering deals with preserving ecosystems and protecting the environment. Various types of land use are competing globally for the limited space available. You will learn to understand the effects of these conflicts on ecosystems and to develop interdisciplinary environmental planning. Design sustainable land use strategies, e.g. for resource-conserving agriculture or forestry or for ecologically acceptable wastewater treatment solutions. Design methods to prevent and eliminate environmental problems and deepen your understanding of societal demands.
Note: Course can also be studied on part-time basis (6 semesters or 8 semesters in part time)

The languages of instruction for this program are German and English. This means that you need to complete modules in both German and English in the course of your studies

German proficiency can also be proven by Qualification Assessment Examination, International Baccalaureate certificate with German at high level, General Higher Education Qualification from a European School in Germany or Diploma from a German educational institution

Ecological Engineering

The international Master in programme scientific computing is geared towards students working at the intersection of Mathematics, Computer Science, and application fields. The programme objective is to offer a specialized educational background that enables students to apply the state-of-the-art methods and tools of Scientific Computing to solution of challenging problems in modern technology and sciences. The focus of the programme is mainly the efficient numerical solution of partial differential equations. Graduates can pursue career in fields of scientific computing in public and private corporation and also pursue doctoral research.

The Semester contributions totaling 137.97 EUR must be paid each semester. It includes Association of Student Services fee 72.00 EUR and Semester Ticket fee 65.97 EUR

The Master degree program in Economic Policy and Quantitative Methods addresses current economic and socio-political topics related to labour markets, inequality, human behaviour, economic growth as well as climate change and the environment and discusses instruments of economic policy to tackle these issues. Students gain insight into a variety of different fields of economics, including Labor, Health, Education and Gender Economics, Climate, Environmental and Urban Economics, Behavioral and Entrepreneurship Economics, as well as Growth and Distribution.  It prepares students for successful careers as professional economists and policy analysts in research, finance, business and policy advising, as data scientists as well as for positions in the public sector or international institutions. The Master degree also paves the way for Phd. studies and an academic career.

Economic Policy and Quantitative Methods

The Master degree program Linguistics: Empirical and Theoretical Foundations is an interdisciplinary course of studies. It deepens the subject-specific knowledge, methods, and skills acquired in the field of empirical and theoretical linguistics during previous studies. The degree program combines the formal implementation of findings in modern grammar models for all core areas (phonology, morphology, syntax, and semantics) with experimental investigation methods and field research. The program provides comprehensive, detailed, and specialized knowledge in formal and experimental linguistics. Linguistics: Empirical and Theoretical Foundations

The Master of Science in Physics is a research-oriented study program. In the first year, the studies comprise required classes in the areas of experimental physics and theoretical physics, as well as required modules that may come from other areas, preferably from the natural-sciences/technical department. The second year is a dedicated research phase that takes place in a research group at the department.

Electrical Engineering Master Program covers the traditional foundations of electrical engineering and information technology. The program offers six specializations to choose from: Smart Information Processing, Communication Systems, Nano and Optoelectronics, Power-electronic Systems and Technologies, Smart Sensors, and Electromagnetics and Applications.

The Semester contributions totalling 214.70 EUR must be paid each semester. It includes Administrative fee 70.00 EUR, Student Services fee and VVS-StudiTicket solidarity fee 134.70 EUR and Student body fee 10.00 EUR

English proficiency can also be proven by at least six semesters on a Bachelor study program in the English language
