The Jazz-Institute Berlin (JIB) emerged from cooperation between the College of Music “Hanns Eisler” Berlin and Berlin University of the Arts. A new, pioneering institute was created from the recognized jazz departments at each institution, where the Master programmes European Jazz Master are offered.The Jazz Institute features guest bookings by well-known artists and practical experience in a music scene currently going through a process of change.

The admission procedure consists of the pre-selection and the entrance examination.

Internship is not mandatory, but is optional during studies. If possible, we recommend doing an internship.

The amount 320 EUR consists of a social contribution for the studierendenwerk BERLIN the contribution for the student representation the enrolment, re-enrolment fees, a semester ticket (participation in public transport) and 30  for participation in the admission

The Bachelor degree Air Traffic Management is the combination of air traffic controller training and business studies, graduates acquire a wide range of skills. The English-language Bachelor degree is a training-integrated degree in cooperation with DFS Deutsche Flugsicherung GmbH.
