The Master program Cardiovascular Science is a consecutive program in English, which has the intention to train international students in all aspects of cardiovascular science. This will be achieved by Its modular structure which offers students with a background in natural sciences a broad education, not only in the relevant basis but also in modern clinical aspects which are essential for understanding translational research questions. A key feature of this program lies in Its high proportion of individual practical training, allowing students to gain experimental experiences and insights in different research questions. After finishing their Master thesis, the graduates will be highly qualified for their future careers in the field of cardiovascular sciences in academia and industry, but also in familiar occupational fields.

Minimum entry requirements include a Bachelor degree in molecular medicine, biology, biochemistry or related fields.
All applicants must attend admission interview.
Applicants must be vaccinated or refresh their vaccination status against measles.

English proficiency can be proved by submitting proof of UNIcert II, NULTE-Certificate with B2
Applicants who have been taught through English for the majority of their courses do not need to submit results from a standardized test. However, it is recommended that they attach an official statement (signed by an official of the college or university, e.g. the dean's or registrar's office) which indicates that English was the medium of instruction
No proof of English proficiency by an English test is required for applicants who are native English speakers, who have resided for a reasonable period in an English speaking Country, who come from an anglophone country
