The aim of the Cognitive Science Master program is to impart in-depth research-oriented cognitive science knowledge. These are created in the competence network of social sciences and computer science as well as biology and neurosciences. Competence network means the interlocking of relevant competencies of the individual disciplines involved with an orientation towards people, technology, economy, organization, communication and behavior.

The Semester contributions totaling 259.54 EUR must be paid each semester. It includes Student union fee 99.00 EUR, AStA (Student body contribution fee) 13.00 EUR and VRN semester ticket + West Palatinate fee 147.54 EUR
When enrolling, an additional 10 EUR is charged for the creation of the chip card as a student ID
Students over the age of 60 must pay a fee of 700 EUR

Minimum requirement includes Bachelor degree in Psychology, Linguistics, Computer Science, Biology or Cognitive Science or at least equivalent study which include a professionally qualifying university degree, or Bachelor in Philosophy with completed the Bachelor thesis in the subject area Philosophy of mind, or Bachelor in Integrative Social Science and completed an empirical Bachelor thesis.
Admission to the Master degree programme is decided for each Applicants within the framework of an aptitude assessment procedure.
