The Master programme Crossways in Cultural Narratives offers a Master programme in the field of comparative literature and intermedial studies. This programme draws on insights, perspectives and methods borrowed from literature, literary and film criticism, history, linguistics, semiotics, cultural studies, media studies, critical theory, philosophy. The main target Master programme is to provide to the students a wide understanding of Arts and the skills necessary to their professional life. This programme is offered in cooperation with Adam Mickiewicz University, Eberhard Karls Universität Tübingen, Universita degli studi di Bergamo, Université de Perpignan Via Domitia, Universidade de Santiago de Compostela, Universidade Nova de Lisboa, University of St Andrews, University of Sheffield, University of Guelph, Universidad Nacional de Tres de Febrero, Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro and Universidad Iberoamericana de la Ciudad de México.

The Semester contributions totalling 158.30 EUR must be paid each semester. It includes Student Services Student union Tübingen-Hohenheim AöR fee 84.80 EUR, Administration fee 70.00 EUR and Student union fee 3.50 EUR
Minimum entry requirement includes a Bachelor degree in the field of Arts, Languages or Social Sciences; particularly a Modern Languages Degree (e.g. language, literature, thought and cultural studies programmes of a high, specialised level relating to one or more of the following: English, French, Italian, Portuguese, Spanish, and related cultures).
Students must possess a near-native at least B2 level in the following languages English, French, Italian, Portuguese, and Spanish
Applicants for admission will be required to present evidence of English Proficiency if their primary or first language is not English, and they have had less than four years of full-time secondary school or post-secondary study, demonstrating satisfactory academic progress, in an English-language school system
During admission the University of Guelph demands an IELTS minimum overall score of 6.5 with no band less than 6, or the equivalent in other approved test
Documents must be translated in English
Additional proof of language proficiency in English, French, Italian, Portuguese, and Spanish is required to be provided
