Master in Digital Games is divided into three specialization tracks: Game Arts, Game Design, and Game Programming. Program addresses students who are interested in focusing on the audiovisual side of the game development process. Students will be introduced to the creation of compelling art concepts and the overall dramaturgic use of art as part of an original game idea.

The Semester contributions totaling 319.20 EUR must be paid each semester. It includes Administrative fee for Kölner Student union fee 100.00 EUR, Public transport pass fee for North Rhine-Westphalia 202.60 EUR (including NRW SemesterTicket fee 59.40 EUR, VRS semester ticket fee 142.90 EUR and solidarity contribution 0.30 EUR), AStA fee 15,60 EUR (includes university sports fee 1.75 EUR and faculty student association fee 1.35 EUR) and Rental bikes fee 1.00 EUR
Minimum entry requirement includes a university degree in Digital Games or in a comparable field with at least 210 ECTS credits.
Applicants who have obtained 180 ECTS credits in a six-semester program may only be offered conditional admission. Those students are required to obtain additional 30 ECTS credits while enrolled in the Master program. Recognition of previous professional or academic achievements is also possible.
Admission process includes Cologne Game Lab aptitude test.
Applicants must prove excellent English language proficiency in the program related aptitude test
Applicants from China, India, Mongolia and Vietnam must submit APS certificate
