It is mandatory to do an internship. It is easier to find internship when it is mandatory. 3-6 months is most common.

Macromedia University of Applied Sciences

Communication and Information Technology programme with a highly research-oriented curriculum, teaching from solid fundamentals and state-of-the-art methods to up-to-date content from wireless communications, signal processing, optical communication devices, integrated circuits, RF engineering, sensor principles, machine learning and embedded systems.Core subjects as well as various specialisation modules provide a broad, yet in-depth background aimed at the above areas and allow for a study focus according to personal interests. Ecosystem Sciences

The Master program in Forest and Ecosystem Sciences provide hands-on approaches to tackle burning current issues such as global change, climate warming, land use change, species loss and biodiversity treats. The studies cover ecosystems analysis and modelling with in-depth training in Advanced programming, data analysis as well as theoretical ecology and practical conservation management. Biomedical Technology

The Master program is research-oriented and comparable in time and orientation to the previous program in physics. The Master program in Nano-Science aims to reach prospective students with a broad interest in different natural sciences. Nano Science

The Master program Geosciences is a research-oriented program. Based on the fundamentals and methodological knowledge gained within the previous program, Advanced geoscientific expertise is acquired from within the specific subject areas of geodynamics, mineralogy, biogeology and exploration geology. Students will learn to recognize geoscientific questions within a scientific context and to independently collect, analyze and interpret data. Geosciences
