Aim of the programme International Degree in Ship Management and ​​Nautical Science is to provide a generalist and multifaceted training in the field  you will still be able to choose specialisations  such as:Navigation and meteorology  Watchkeeping  marine communication and manoeuvring  Ship technology  ship safety  fleet management  Cargo technology (tankers  dry cargo  dangerous goods) 
Maritime law and personnel management.

Internship is not mandatory, but is optional during studies. If possible, we recommend doing an internship.

International Master study programme in Translational Neuroscience is consecutive to a Bachelor programme and is addressed to students interested in basic and clinical research in neuroscience. Translational neuroscience uses this knowledge and technological advances to help developing new diagnostic procedures and therapies for patients with neurological or psychiatric disorders.

It is mandatory to do an internship. It is easier to find internship when it is mandatory. 3-6 months is most common.

Semester contribution include a train ticket with which covers travel free of charge by bus and trains in the state of North-Rhine Westphalia (NRW)

Translational Neuroscience

The Master programme Strategic Information Management (M.Sc.) teach students to learn how companies use existing potentials and open up new opportunities through the strategic use of the resource information. Students are prepared to design and manage information systems and to future-proof the organisation on a strategic, tactical and operational level. 

The language of instruction in this degree program is German. Occasionally, lectures may be held in English, e.g. when using guest lecturers from abroad.
